    Brief Description:

The Expanded Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Natural History Study (eDNHS) is a longitudinal, observational study designed to characterize the progression of DMD under current standards of care. Boys and men with DMD are eligible to participate in the eDNHS regardless of functional status, participation in active or past clinical trials, or current or past therapies and medications. Study visits take place approximately every six (6) months in the first 2 years followed by annually, to align with standard of care visit schedules. Data collection includes questionnaires, medical history and medication review, and strength and function testing. The eDNHS is an expanded continuation of the previous Duchenne Natural History Study, which ran from 2005-2016. If you are interested in learning more, contact eDNHS@trinds.com.
